Business Ethics
Enterprise Ethics is more important than Business Ethics for TransAct. We implement sustainability-related education by sharing relevant reports regularly, promoting sustainability integrity and commitment, disseminate information of seminars on energy saving and carbon reduction to employees in internal meetings, and inviting external experts and scholars to speak at our company so as to shoulder our social responsibility, join hands with all colleagues to create a pure land, and achieve sustainable corporate development. In addition, through seminars, such as the ITI Kaohsiung Campus visit, students will be able to develop a sustainable citizenship and business ethics learning community by promoting the concept and responsibility of sustainability business ethics and providing more practical opportunities to learn about sustainability issues. There were no ethical issues or conducts related to anti-competitive issues that occurred during the year.
Establish the whistleblower mechanism: Employees can systematically speak up to their supervisors about illegal, unethical or irregular situations in the organization. We encourage employees to reveal unethical or illegal behavior so that timely action can be taken to resolve problems. The main purpose is to let employees know that the company takes ethical policy seriously and values it. In order to function, the company also uses anonymity to protect whistleblowers and establishes a comprehensive disclosure system to encourage ethical behavior among employees. (2-26)
Mechanisms for Seeking Advice and Raising Concerns (2-26)
Integrity is the highest principle of any business activity conducted by TransAct.
Corruption and bribery of company personnel that affect integrity are strictly prohibited.
As part of its annual work guidelines, TransAct has established a self-assessment program for the risk of dishonest behavior, and regularly reviewed the results and set up a prevention mechanism to implement honest management and reduce the risk of corruption.
Use company email and the HR management system as the communication channel and communicate at any time.
We established a whistleblower protection system for internal whistleblowing to protect the anonymity of whistleblowers and ensure that they are not subject to any adverse personnel measures to prevent any dishonest, fraudulent, or criminal acts.
