About the Report

The 2021 CSR Report (Sustainability Report) is the first sustainability report published in 2022 by TransAct Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TransAct”) to review and organize our sustainability efforts in 2021, and is set as the base year for TransAct’s sustainability report. (3-2)

In the 2021 Annual Sustainability Report, we use a systematic online platform as the major way to improve and communicate non-financial information, as well as taking overall review and improving sustainability performance. With the combination of TransAct’s corporate culture and the development of a vision of sustainable management, we committed to help other SMEs moving towards sustainable development. We disclose our efforts on CSR and sustainable development achievements in the areas of economy, product responsibility, environment, social participation, labor care, human rights, etc. And we also respond to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the UN calls for a global approach.

Sustainability Core Group

The president is the steering committee. The members of the committee include senior executives, Administration Dept., Project Management Dept., Financial Dept., Curriculum Dept. and Design Dept. The committee incorporates the opinions of internal and external professional teams and plans annual sustainability strategies through regular or irregular meetings. Based on the topic under the responsibility of the project teams, the sustainability executive is assigned to make timelines for impact management. We continuously improve and create innovative ideas; review the effectiveness of the supervisory implementation of the company's operational direction; report and compare current and planned progresses on weekly meetings; and report to the board of directors on latest economic, environmental and human impact management challenges and solutions, as well as the result of the organization’s sustainable development quarterly. Preparation Principles

The disclosure in this report follows the GRI Standards: Core option published by the Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB) .The report was also prepared with reference to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the SDGs of the United Nations to implement the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management and to disclose non-financial information.

By reporting to stakeholders on the strategies, activities and performance of us in terms of economic, social and environmental sustainability indicators, we demonstrate our determination to take the initiative to pursue sustainable business development and social responsibility. Through the release of this report, we hope to inventory the performance in all aspects of corporate sustainability in 2021 and let the public better understand and trust TransAct.

Reporting Period

The report period is between January 1st,  2021 and December 31st, 2021, which mainly covers TransAct’s performance of sustainable operation in Taiwan. (2-3)

Reporting Scope

This report reveals information about the systematic planning and activities of TransAct, with an emphasis on the management and performance of each major topic. (2-2)

Restatement of Information

This is the first report issued by TransAct, so there is no restatement of information. (2-4)

External Assurance

In order to ensure the transparency and credibility of information, the information and data in the report are independently verified by TUV NORD Taiwan, a third-party international verification organization, and the sustainability report formulate statement is detailed in the appendix and the Investor Page of our website.  (2-5)

Reporting Cycle

TransAct will publish the “Sustainability Report” every year and is available on our official website. (2-3)
