4.2 Human Rights Protection

Human Rights Evaluation

In order to protect basic human rights, comply with labor regulations and support the spirit and principles of international human rights conventions such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Conventions and the United Nations Global Compact, we have established three principles. In addition to supporting and practicing human rights protection, we have established the "Human Rights and Environmental Sustainability Clause" to encourage our partners, including suppliers, to raise awareness of human rights issues and to emphasize the management of related risks.

A. Protect human rights in the workplace: The company prohibits human rights violations such as forced labor, human trafficking, child labor and sexual harassment; and we do not discriminate against employees on the basis of race, class, language, ideology, religion, party affiliation, national origin, place of birth, gender, sexual orientation, age, marriage, appearance, facial features, physical or mental disability, astrological sign, blood type, or union membership, etc., in order to ensure the protection of employees' human rights in the workplace and to provide a dignified, equal workplace.

B. Implement equal pay for equal work: The company does not discriminate in the payment of salaries to employees on the basis of gender or sexual orientation; equal salaries will be paid to those whose work or value is the same. However, this does not apply to those who are justified on the basis of seniority, merit, performance or other reasons other than gender or sexual orientation. 

C. Training courses: The president and external professional lecturers regularly conduct human rights education within the company to enhance the human rights of our employees and to create a fair, safe and inclusive working environment; currently, 100% of internal employees have completed the courses.

D. Provide a healthy and safe workplace: The company complies with the relevant regulations on occupational safety and health. We provides employees with a safe, healthy and hygienic workplace by conducting safety and health work, educational training, employee health checkups, various health promotion activities, etc., to take care of the physical and mental health of employees, improve and enhance the safety and health conditions of the work environment and reduce the risk of occupational disasters.
